A large number of multimedia resources is available online through the Association of Public Broadcasting Stations of New York State. Some of these resources are aligned to state's learning standards, offer suggested activities and essays, and give the ability to stream and download content. Some services require a user name and password. Email a school librarian to get them.

This password-protected service contains over 50,000 multimedia components, including images, video, audio, podcasts and print. You need a passcode to register. Email a school librarian to get it.

Regents Review Live!
This service provides resources to helps students prepare for the New York Regents Examinations. It includes links to previous exams, slides shows and streaming video files. Videos require Windows Media Player. Each video is captioned for the hearing impaired.

Vital New York
This digital library includes over 1,000 resources that have been aligned to the New York State Regents curriculum in Global History and Geography, US History, Living Environment, Earth Science, Physics, and Chemistry. It requires a very short online self-registration. No special passcodes are necessary.

Wide Angle: Window into Global History
This service supports the teaching and learning of Regents Global and World History. It offers searchable media-rich lesson plans with downloadable video segments, background essays and maps, flexible viewing options, and a variety of media formats.

WLIW's Visions
This website offers videos, downloads, cultural resources and other information about travel destinations across the globe. The videos feature gorgeous aerial photography and are scored with traditional regional music.
